Language and Culture

· Native English Speaker – I was born and raised in Florida, in the United States of America. I am able to speak English very clearly and without accent.
· Conversational Mandarin – Since beginning my course work at Anhui University, I am able to carry on simple conversations, read several hundred common characters, and write a few hundred of the most common characters.
· Culture – It is obvious that I understand American culture, but I also have a good understanding of many aspects of Chinese culture. During my time here I have grown fond of many aspects off Chinese culture.
Teaching
· I am ESL and EFL certified
· I am able to follow or create curriculum for teaching English as a second language.
· I have studied and worked in the American school system and studied in a Chinese university, so I have perspective on how to relate to each student.
· I enjoy teaching, and believe that it is crucial that a teacher enjoys their profession.
· I have experience teaching English to students aged 4-70, so I am comfortable teaching any age.
Traveling
· If my position requires any travel, I am fully able to take care of any travel arrangements and navigate my way in an unfamiliar city.

Leading a team of 11 foreign teachers and 6 Chinese teachers to excel in their given positions. Creating training materials and designing the Academic Department Policy for the learning center.Training team members and leading workshops. Working between departments to see that customer service issues were handled correctly on our end. Streamlining communication in the center. Project manager for creating and installing a curriculum.
