外教简历 Profile I graduated from The University of Birmingham with a First Class Honours degree in Psychology in 2011. This gave me a subject-focused, yet well-rounded education with many transferrable skills.During my time at university, I was elected as the Equestrian Team Social Secretary which meant I was responsible for organising and promoting excitingweekly social events for the club. As part of my role, I was also in charge of holding interviews at the annual trials for new members. I was the first person in the Club’s history to be elected in first year and also the first person to have held this position (with annual voting) for their entire university career. I feel this shows that I am dedicated and a good team leader. Using my imagination to create these events and then generating enthusiasm for them was what first sparked my interest in marketing. I spent the following year living in China as a full-time, salaried English teacher to over 500 children at a state school. I feel this sets me apart from other candidates as it shows I am capable of dealing with stressful and unfamiliar situations and has taught me to use my initiativeunder pressure. I spent the academic year 2012-2013 as a teaching assistant at a primary school. This has provided me with impeccable group management, time management and organisational skills. I am currently in China to learn Mandarin to a fluent level in order to forge a career in London using this skill. Work Experience 09/2012 - present | Teaching and Administration Assistant High March School, Beaconsfield I was the ‘Gap Tutor’ at a private primary school in Buckinghamshire. I assisted in English, Maths, Science and P.E. lessons of all year groups (primarily Years 3-6) and I also lead smaller groups in reading and other English assignments. This has greatly enhanced my group management skills. My role also involved administrative duties for the two Deputy Headmistresses which has given me essential office experience and improved my organisational and computer skills. These administrative duties included filing and organising important and confidential legal documents, updating the current reading programme system, and keeping parents informed of upcoming events amongst many other responsibilities. I also liaised with parents coming in to the school which gives me experience of handling clients. 09/2011 – 06/2012 | English Foreign Language Teacher Yucai Primary School, Hankou, Wuhan, China I taught English to all Grade 1 children (5-6 years old) at Yucai Primary School in Hankou, Wuhan. This involved planning lessons that were suitable for children who did not speak any English up to some with basic and intermediate English skills. There were 10 classes of over 50 children and I taught each of them twice a week. 08/2010 | ISL foster care summer play scheme volunteer ISL / Worcestershire County Council ISL is a Worcester County Council organisation that runs summer play schemes for children in foster care. I helped lead activities (e.g. cooking classes, outdoor activities etc) and looked after the children. This gave me the opportunity to work with children from more difficult backgrounds than others I had worked with in the past.

My main duty was the general care of the horses and helping with the smooth running of the yard and the riding school. I interacted with other members of staff, horse owners, riding school clients which included both children and adults. The Centre often ran “Own a Pony” days where I would teach children between 4 and 15 years old about how to enjoy being around horses in a safe and responsible manner.
12/2009 – 02/2010 | Bar person / waitress The Bellhouse Hotel | Oxford Road, Beaconsfield, HP9 2XE This job increased my confidence and enhanced my communication and people skills.
